Hello, my name is Meg. I am a qualified and experienced counsellor and coach based in London. I provide a private and confidential counselling and coaching service to individuals and to couples. I work with a diverse range of people from a wide range of backgrounds.
I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).
I am an integrative counsellor, which enables me to customise my therapeutic approach to support my client’s journey.
My experience to date, centres around a Humanistic Approach, using Person Centred as my core Therapy, Transactional Analysis and solution focused therapy. I am also, an experienced person centred Coach.
I work in partnership with my clients to determine, what they wish to focus on and how they would like things changed or improved. Depending on my client’s requirements, I can also offer the ‘Consultancy Model’ which combines, both counselling and coaching together, which some clients prefer, when they wish to undertake a transformational change in their life or work.
Counselling and Coaching is particularly beneficial to clients who are looking to transform their life or business to create positive change. My experience enables me to integrate these processes together and facilitate clients in recognising and overcoming their barriers to success and willingness to work towards change.
Working with Young People
Lots of things impact children, teenagers and young adults, including peer pressure, cyber bullying, fear of failure, parents divorcing or separation, step parents and step siblings or leaving home for the first time to attend University and learning to manage away from home, dealing with the pressures of managing their finance, study and exams. Counselling can support them and help them manage these often overwhelming and challenging situations.
Having spent, several years in the technology and finance sector in City of London, I am very much aware, having personally experienced the demands of corporate life, the potential conflicts it can create within the home and the challenges creating work/life balance in an extremely demanding competitive industry.
